customs

税関と言う役所を意味する。

the official department that administers and collects the duties levied by a government on imported goods: cocaine seizures by customs have risen this year | [as modifier] : a customs officer.
• the place at a port, airport, or frontier where officials check incoming goods, travelers, or luggage: arriving refugees were whisked through customs.

duty (=customs duty / import duty)

輸入時に支払う関税（税金）を意味する。

a payment levied on the import, export, manufacture, or sale of goods: a 6 percent duty on imports | goods subject to excise duty.

tariff

関税率、税関の組織を意味する。

a tax or duty to be paid on a particular class of imports or exports: the reduction of trade barriers and import tariffs.
• a list of taxes on imports or exports.

銀行振込（ぎんこうふりこみ）

英語：Bank Transfer

銀行の口座宛にお金を送金すること。

 

消費税（しょうひぜい）

英語：a consumption tax

物品・サービスの購入・消費に課される税金のこと。

しばしば、売上税 (米) (sales) tax,  付加価値税 (英) a value-added tax (略 VAT) も消費税と翻訳されることがあるが、正しくは、VAT (Value-Added Tax) (付加価値税)、 Sales Tax (売上税)、Excise tax (物品税)、expenditure tax(支出税)の4種類の総称をConsumption tax (消費税) と呼ぶ。日本ではVAT（付加価値税）しかないため、総称の消費税と呼ばれている。例えるなら、果物の中に、りんご、バナナ、パイナップル、マンゴーがあり、その国にはりんごしかないから、りんごを指して果物と呼んでいるようなもの。

税関（ぜいかん）

港・空港・国境などで、輸出入される品物の関税を徴収したり、書類チェックや検査をする場所。

郵便振替（ゆうびんふりこみ）

英語：Postal Transfer

銀行振込と同じようなもので、郵便局口座宛にお金を送金すること。

 

 

A/S (At Sight)

輸出者が出荷後に期日の成約無しに、銀行に支払いを求めるこ とが可能な条件。

Debit Note

日本語：請求書。

Invoice

日本語：

1)請求明細書 2)送り状 3)納品書 4)請求書 5)見積書。

日本国内で使用されている「インボイス」は一般的に納品書のことを意味するが、英語の Invoice には、別の書類の意味があるので要注意。「書類」ぐらいに考えておいたほうが無難である。

 

L/C (Letter of credit)

輸入者が取引銀行に依頼し、銀行が発行する「買取保証書」ま たは「信用状」。輸出金額が$10,000 未満であれば、T/T(電送) のほうがコストがかからない。様々なL/Cの種類がある。
